  • Great dill pickles. My dear departed Mom used to make pickles and I would help as a kid. I loved the smell of the dill and the pickling. When done right, she'd put most of them up in big crocks and buy a lot of fresh dill. Then they would sit forever in a cool, dark, cellar. I'd go in there all the time because they'd smell so good. I couldn't wait until they were ready. Then she would carefully put them in mason jars and seal them. We'd “ration” a jar here and there over the course of the year. We all loved Mom's pickles. In fact, it was about the only thing she prepared that received such accolade and loyalty. Mom is gone, but the memories of those pickles remain as a special treat. I bought a jar of yours, and they're really good: almost as good as those one's of Mom's that I remember from my youth. Thanks!

  • Great work. Love your pickles. A transplant from NY happy to get something approaching a true NY deli. Can't stop daughter from eating. Please become wildly successful, but no different!
    - D. Cahn
  • They are great. My son and I ate a whole jar in one sitting. Buy them at Jazz and at Tony's.
    - Randall
  • I just found these three weeks before I have to move at Ace Hardware in Vero Beach, FL. They better be available in Darlington or Bel Air MD. If not I can't promise what I'll do. The bread and butter pickles are so good I may rob pallets from the factory. I should not be expected to live without them now. God help me if I got teased with these delicious pickles!!!

  • Honestly, these are the best dill pickles I have ever tasted! You were not kidding on your label!
    - Lynn L.
  • I had my first taste of your pickles today. OMG! Absolutely bar none/ the best I have ever had. Thank you!
    - P. Gallager
  • I went to my town's hardware store today to get a leather punch and I saw they had a display of your pickles. I had never tried them, and you have to buy pickles being sold in a hardware store. :-) I bought the smoked black pepper and I took them home. I had to get to work. It is now 1:50 am and I have just had one of your pickles. I have to tell you that in full honesty, this is the best pickle I have ever had. It's crisp, flavorful, and best of all a little hot. You've done it now. I won't be going back to Vlassic, Claussen, or Gedney ever again. So start ordering the cucumbers. Once again, NICE JOB.

  • I eat at least one of your pickles every day. I am now dreaming in color.

  • Wondering if you'd like to come and bring your pickles during our annual Garlic Festival.
    - Judi from Tagawa Gardens
  • I used to be a tire store. Now I am a pickle store that happens to sell tires.
    - Sam Barnsley of Barnsley Tire Store in Boulder, CO
  • Is there crack cocaine in your pickles? They are too addicting.
    - Possibilities Salon in Orlando, FL
  • We actually bought some of the pickles that were sold at the holiday home tour a couple weekends ago and we loved them so much that we wanted to buy more.
    - Kathy B.
  • I got a jar of your pickles at a local hardware store. I have been trying to find pickles that come close to what my mom used to can. I have not even got into the same catagory until now. Your pickles are exactly what my mom's tasted like before. I would like to say thank you for bringing back a memory I thought was lost and now my 7 year old can get a taste of how a pickle should taste. Thanks again.
    - Daryl
  • I don't use twitter or facebook but wanted you to know your pickles are the best I've ever had. I found them at a local Albertsons food store and gave them a try. I've been hooked ever since. I often give jars as gifts to those who I know enjoy good pickles. I don't normally write about products but felt you diserved the kudo's. Thanks for your product, and keep up the good work.

  • OMG! I love pickles, but until yesterday, I had never heard of yours. Stopped at the Ace Hardware store in Chincoteague, VA, with my husband who is CEO of Rommel's Ace and he mentioned that his district manager was a huge fan of Tru pickles. I love all things "brine-y" so I bought a jar and OMG, they are fantastic. Perfect crunch, perfect flavor! Going to mention you in my next blog post. www.barnbugstudio.blogspot.com. Thanks for a great product!
    -Mary Cottingham
  • OMG! These pickles are out of this universe! Better than Wickles! I tried both today and fell in love at first bite!

  • How did you just make me desperately need to go to the HARDWARE STORE for the sole purpose of BUYING PICKLES? 'taint the store, it's the PICKLE !
    - Dogface
  • I cannot believe your pickles!! I bought a jar while visiting my niece who has a spinal cord injury at Craig hospital in denver. They wrapped it up nice to fly home to my home north of Seattle. My bag didn't go thru security. I hadn't tried your pickles yet but I LOVE pickles and wasn't gonna throw them out. I had to drain the liquid but saved my pickles! I ate all but 3 at the airport while waiting for my flight!! I just finished my leftover 3 and I am addicted!! I just ordered 7 jars of your pickles including your other varieties!!! Need I say more????

  • I went into Rocky's Ace to get something for the house and came out with pickles. Thought it was a strange place for pickles, a hardware store, but the Bread and Butter Pickles were delicious. I could make a meal out of them. I'll have to be brave and try the Tru Heat Pickle.
    -Janice C.
  • Hi, my name is Susan and live in Covington, LA. I bought my first jar of Tru Pickles this week and have to say, hands down they are by far. Definitely the very best I have ever had. Thank you so much sharing! Wishing the best of everything.
    -Susan C.
  • Finally- - pickles free of coloring, preservatives, and other un-needed junk. Having Celiac Disease (gluten intolerance) as well as being a healthful eater in general, it's great to finally have a real pickle on the market.
    Rick S.
  • You're right; these are the best pickles I've ever tasted. I've bought them at an Ace Hardware in North Andover, MA, and they don't have the hot version of the dills. Bread and Butter pickles have never been my favorite, but yours are wonderful and I buy them regularly along with the dills. Thank you for a delicious pickle!
    -Lucy T.
  • Thank you for making such wonderful pickles! I love the fact that they are not filled with preservatives and additives. My family loves pickles and it's nice to know that as they enjoy them, they are the best I can buy and good for them! Your efforts to provide a TRU pickle in every sense of the word is truly appreciated!

  • Hi, I'm your new found fan. I've eaten dill pickles since a toddler, every brand and every flavor. Known for never passing up a dill pickle, especially those in that huge nasty jar at some random farm stand or at the fair. While visiting my folks in Utah, I picked up a jar of your Kosher Dills at Harmons and ate the whole damn jar in a matter of hours. I thank you for putting the biggest smile on my face. They are so perfect. I live in Cardiff, CA (north San Diego). When I typed my zip in the store locator Ace hardware comes up? Wild. Please tell me where in San Diego I can find your dills? If it is indeed Ace Hardware, trust me I'll be a frequent visitor walking out with jars of dills. How sexy would that be :)
    -Kristin
  • Your Tru Heat pickles are amazing! I discovered them when I was purchasing some miscellaneous odds and ends from Ace Hardware and saw them on the counter. I purchased a jar, and subsequently that whole jar was gone by the end of the day. I had been craving them for weeks after that until I finally got a chance to stop by Ace Hardware again and I just bought two more jars of these wonderful pickles. Thanks for making such a delicious product!!!
    -Joe S
  • I'm lovin your pickles with heat. I ate half a jar the first day and can't wait to finish it, so I can put some hard boiled eggs in the brine. Why don't you think about making some dill relish with heat?
    -Ray S.
  • I would like to start by saying thank you for making a great pickle. It's been years since I had a pickle like my grandma's. When I opened the jar and tasted my first Tru pickle, I realized that I finally found one! That's why I say thanks for making a childhood taste come back to life.
    -Nathan U.
  • These pickles are the BEST pickles ever!!!! I cannot eat any other! I'm spreading the word, my daughter and husband are addicted! Please keep on making these great pickles!

  • I received your Smokin' Mary mix for Christmas because I've been known to break out Bloody Mary's at camp. It was so good that I looked up Tru Pickles online and ordered 4 along with 1 spicy pickles to check it out. Your pickles are excellent, too. When I started running low, Wayne Brown, the Phoenix sales coordinator found an Ace location close to me that carried the mix to save me shipping costs. When I got there only 2 jars were left. Seriously, you have to try it!

  • I found your pickles the other day at a local store. Bought a jar and have something to say thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been searching in vain for a pickle of this quality without having to make them myself. (I make a good pickle just don't always have the time :). Please by all means let everyone you work with to know you guys rock! Have an awesome day.

  • Hi there, I was wandering towards the door, on my way home from work at Pleasants Hardware last night when something caught my eye. I noticed a new display rack that had a new product on it; Tru Pickles. After reading the label I couldn't resist trying a jar of the kosher dills. They looked and sounded like a very quality product. When I got home, I followed the instructions on the jar, stuck the pickles in the fridge and let them get nice and chilled while I did a few things around the house. I was eager to taste them but figured I'd let them get cold first. When they were chilled I popped open the jar and grabbed one out. Crunch, "Wow!". I must say, you have made one delicious pickle. I've already finished the jar I bought yesterday. I've eaten them as snacks and with every meal since I bought them and they only continued to get better the more of them I had. After eating them I knew that I had to contact you and let you know how stellar a product you've made. Thanks a ton, I love quality, traditional foods and these are a perfect example of both. Keep cranking out the delicious product.

  • The last time I went into Ace, they had moved the pickles to the other side of the front checkout counter and I yelled, "Where are the pickles?!" Before I left there, I convinced three more people to buy a jar, even a man who was walking out the door with his purchases. One man asked me if they were that good, and I told the store that I came from two towns away just to buy them. The really are a fantastic product. I read the ingredients out loud to my daughter and then read the ingredients on my husband's Mt. Olive dill sandwich stackers and she was stunned. Pure pickle! Thank you.

  • I am a Trü junkie. My 12 year old daughter loves them too. I was raised with peter piper pickles, but I've come over to the Dill side. I am pregnant, and always thought the pickle craving was a joke, but let tell ya, I will not go a day without a Trü Pickle, and God save Humanity if I happen to run out. Thank You Thank You Thank You SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much for the Best Pickle in the Universe. My family will remain Trü to you.

  • Hello Trü Pickles, just wanted to pass along the pleasure of trying your Bread and Butter pickles. They are the best that I’ve ever had! I really appreciate finding a great quality pickle, bout tired of the Claussen Brand, plus your name is like really COOL.

  • I was out early Saturday morning to the hardware store to pick up a repair part. I saw your pickles on the way to the register and having just run out, picked a jar each of the Kosher Dills and Heat varieties. I never thought I would buy pickles from a hardware store but probably wouldn’t have picked them out among the many choices at a large grocery store. Now I won't name any names but my favorite growing up in the NW was always the locally made "King Pickle". For years now they have become rubbery and are often soft inside. The back of the jar now says Product of India. I switched to the brand with a stork on the front which are nice and crispy but leaves just a little to be desired in the taste department. Tru are now my favorite pickles! The Dills have the perfect blend of taste and crunch and the Heat slices nice and hot without being wimpy or over the top. I'm not going to wait until I run out and stock up as I HATE to run out of pickles. Pickled Green Beans next?
